OESJ SEEKING CANDIDATES FOR BOARD OF EDUCATION VACANCY

On Tuesday, May 21st, qualified residents of the Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School District will elect two (2) members of the Board of Education each to a three (3) year term, commencing on July 1, 2024 and expiring on June 30, 2027, to succeed Anton Christensen and Steven Polidori, whose terms expire on June 30, 2024.

Residents interested in seeking a seat on the Board of Education must file a petition for nomination, which must be signed by at least 25 voters of the district. To request a nominating packet, please contact District Clerk, Stephanie Bonk, at (518) 568-7280 or email stephanie.bonk@oesj.org. Petitions must be returned by 5:00 p.m. on April 22, 2024.

Candidates must be a qualified voter of the district and must have resided in the district for at least one year prior to the election.

The election will take place on Tuesday, May 21st, from noon to 8:00 p.m. in the auditoriums at the Jr/Sr High School and the Elementary school.
