MOHAWK VALLEY FFA MEMBERS EXCEL IN LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, SECURE SPOTS AT SUB-STATES

OESJ FFA members stand together as a group celebrating their success
OESJ FFA members displayed their excellence in leadership as they secure their spot in sub-states.

Members of the Mohawk Valley chapter of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) have demonstrated remarkable success in their recent participation in the Leadership Development Event, earning coveted positions to compete at the Sub-States slated for March 16th.

The chapter’s engagement in the event spanned across multiple categories, showcasing the diverse talents and expertise of its members. Notable participants in the Agriculture Issues category included Kenton Schwasnick, Danica Schwasnick, Andrea Thayer, Rebecca Johnson, and Aaliyah Rachon.

In the Junior division, Myles Hayes distinguished himself in Creed Speaking, while Brooke Foote showcased her proficiency in Prepare Public Speaking. In the Senior category, EmmaJo Schmidtmann excelled in both Senior Creed Speaking and Senior People in Agriculture, alongside Myles Hayes.

Kaylee Heroth showcased her skills by participating in Senior Extemporaneous Public Speaking, Employment Skills, and also vying for the prestigious position of District V President Candidate.

Looking towards the future, Kaylee Heroth and EmmaJo Schmidtmann have earned the opportunity to represent Mohawk Valley FFA at the State level competitions scheduled for May. Kaylee will compete in Extemporaneous Public Speaking, while EmmaJo will demonstrate her skills in Senior Creed Speaking.

 

Additionally, the chapter received commendation as Mrs. Hudyncia-Davis was honored with the esteemed District V Golden Owl Award, recognizing her outstanding contributions and dedication to the Mohawk Valley FFA chapter.
