OESJ Nominating Packets
The Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville CSD announces that qualified residents interested in a seat on the Board of Education must file a petition for nomination, which must be signed by at least 25 voters of the district. To request a nominating packet, please contact District Clerk Stephanie Bonk at (518) 568-7280 or email stephanie.bonk@oesj.org. Petitions must be returned by 5:00 p.m. on April 20, 2026.
Candidates must be a qualified voter of the district and must have resided in the district for at least one year prior to the election.
Two 3-year terms are available for anyone interested in running for a seat on the board. The two 3-year seats, presently occupied by Shannon Smith and Ty Stowell, become vacant as of July 1, 2026.
The election will take place on Tuesday, May 19th, from noon to 8:00 p.m. in the auditoriums at the Jr/Sr High School and the Elementary school.
