NJHS Inagural Induction

Thirty OESJ Middle School students inducted in National Junior Honor Society
Thirty sixth and seventh grade students were inducted into the OESJ Middle School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society during a ceremony at the school Wednesday, June 11.

Wednesday's ceremony marked the first induction for the newly rechartered National Junior Honor Society Chapter. Students were selected based on grades, students must have a cumulative grade point average of no less than 85 percent, and how well their applications demonstrates leadership, character, scholarship and service. 

Students applications are judged by members of a Faculty Council, which consists of Ms. Kristy Collins, Mrs. Samantha Elliot, Mrs. Rebecca Jenkins, Mrs. Hannah Murcray and Mrs. Cheryl Trodler. The NJHS Faculty Advisor is Mrs. Deb Conte.
