Middle School Career Day

POSTED 1/23/2014
Volunteers sought for OESJ Middle School Career Day, Feb. 6
Are you passionate about your work? Do you work in a field with growing career opportunities? Are you willing to help youth understand what it takes to succeed in the workforce?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, the OESJ Middle School would like to you to consider volunteering for the school's Career Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 6.

Volunteers will be asked to make four 25-minute presentations to seventh and eighth grade students from 9 to 11 a.m. the day of the fair. Presentations should cover job duties, skills required, education and licensing requirements, etc. (Please note: learners of this age react best to hands-on presentations with visual accompaniments.)

If you'd like to volunteer, or would like to suggest a family member or coworker, contact April Stalteri at 568-2014 x. 102 or april.stalteri@oesj.org for more information.
