POSTED 9/20/2013OESJ High School Open House on Sept. 25
Parents and guardians of OESJ High School students have an opportunity to meet each of their child’s teachers and get an overview of their curriculum during an open house from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25.
A copy of each student’s schedule was sent home, but schedules will also be available the night of the open house. The open house will be organized into nine periods, meaning parents will be able to follow their child’s daily schedule.
Parents will also be able to sign-up to speak to a teacher during upcoming parent-teacher conferences from Nov. 21-22. District leaders are asking parents to utilize open house as a curriculum overview and keep specific questions to parent-teacher conferences.
“We encourage parents to come to open house and also sign-up for the conferences,” said Principal Ronald Smith. “This year represents a great opportunity to see how the teachers are working together after the merger, and also to see what your child’s routine is like.”
