Elks donate dictionaries to OESJ third graders
The Canajoharie/Fort Plain Elks Lodge recently provided free dictionaries to every third grader in the Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School District.

Since 2004, the Canajoharie/Fort Plain Elks have distributed dictionaries and other materials free of charge to local schools as one of their many volunteer efforts. This year the Elks donated nearly 300 dictionaries, coloring books, and bookmarks to students at six schools.

Librarians and teachers will work with the students throughout the year to teach them how to properly use the reference book.
