POSITION: Teaching Assistant
AVAILABLE: September 1, 2018
DUTIES: Work with individual and/or small groups of students under the supervision of a certified teacher in the supervision and instruction of students; assist teacher in the development of instructional materials and assists in instructional programs; assist students by modeling the necessary skills to perform assignments; follow educational and specific behavioral plans; model appropriate behaviors and interactions with students and staff; and assist students by providing for special needs; perform other duties, as may be assigned by the building principal.
QUALIFICATIONS: Certification required; must pass background and fingerprint check by NYSED
REPORTS TO: Teacher, Building Principal, and Superintendent
WORKS WITH: Students, faculty, staff, administration and parents
SALARY: As per OESJ Teacher Salary Guide
