OESJ senior earns outstanding business student award
OESJ High School senior been recognized as a2013-2014 Outstanding Business Education Student by the Capital
Bellen
District Business and Marketing Educators Association (BMEA). Bellen recieved the award at the BMEA's 21st Annual Outstanding Business Education Student Awards Dinner held at the Holiday Inn in Colonie.

The awards are given to seniors who have successfully completed at least three credits in business education classes. To earn the awards students must also demonstrate personal characteristics such as reliability and self motivation.

In addition to taking business classes, Bellen is a member of National Honor Society, has played volleyball, basketball, and soccer, and  is active in church and chorus.  Bellen has taken two college courses and plans to attend Herkimer County Community College for forensics or criminal justice.
