On Wednesday, June 7th, senior Adelina Brundage was named the 2016-2017 Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce Female Athlete of the Year at the 30th Annual Sports Award Banquet held at the Holiday Inn in Johnstown. Addie was chosen for her outstanding athletic achievements as a 3 sport athlete, participating in Soccer, Basketball, and Track & Field. In soccer, Addie was a 1st team WAC All Star, a Section 2 All Star, she was named a 4th team New York State All Star, and scored over 50 career goals as a 4 year Varsity starter. Addie is very well deserving of this recognition and the OESJ School District is very proud of her. She has been a leader on and off the field and she exemplifies the type of student athlete that others should emulate. While she will be greatly missed as a student and student athlete at OESJ, there is no doubt that she will continue to be a role model in her future endeavors.

Other OESJ senior athletes recognized at the banquet were Caitlin Handy, Alexis Romeyn, and AJ Hayes. Johnstown's Ben Wager was honored as the Male Athlete of the Year. Congratulations to all.
