Distance Learning Class Celebrates End of 2015

The Advanced Placement Calculus AB class celebrated the end of 2015 with group calculus t-shirts. Advanced Placement Calculus AB is a distance learning class, where other schools remotely join in and interact with our students. OESJ hosts two high school distance learning classes: Advanced Placement Calculus AB, instructed by Mr. Battisti, and Exploring Agriscience, instructed by Mr. Smith. OESJ students also remotely connect to other schools to receive an array of classes from Psychology to Advanced Placement United States History.

Advanced Placement Calculus AB is the highest level math course offered at OESJ, equivalent to Calculus 1 in college. Students can earn college credit for the class. Two students from Tech Valley High School in Albany, and one student from Fort Edward are members of the class, joining in remotely. Pictured are the students and staff from all three schools.
