2015-2016 Community Art Program Creates Barn Quilts

The OESJ Community Art Program is part of the high school art program during which  students produce art for the public at cost.  The theme has changed over the years, starting with painted cows, then a  twenty foot by eight foot mural last year for the American Legion.  This year, Junior and Senior students in the Drawing and Painting class volunteered to create twelve barn quilts measuring four foot square each.  There was great interest this year, and they plan to continue with barn quilts again next spring for the 2017 Community art project.
