The Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School District Board of Education has announced three finalists in its search for a new superintendent of schools. As part of the final stages of the selection process, each candidate will meet community members at a public forum and have a chance to talk about his background, leadership qualifications and his approach to education in a small, rural setting.
The public forums end a full day of interviews for each candidate, and take place from 7-8 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 2, 3, and 4 at the OESJ High School auditorium.
Once the board makes its final decision and appointment, the new OESJ superintendent is expected to assume his responsibilities by July 1, 2015.
