OESJ Pay It Forward collects nearly $1,000 worth of toys for children’s hospital
The OESJ High School Pay It Forward class collected nearly $1,000 worth of toys for children at the Albany Medical Center Children's Hospital this year.

With the donations received, the Pay It Forward class was able to deliver a van load of toys to the hospital just in time for Christmas.

Among the donors were Kim and Bob Snell, pictured at right with Pay It Forward students. With the proceeds of their Justin’s Ride Fundraiser, the Snells presented the class with a $500 check to go toward the toy collection effort.

The OESJ High School Pay It Forward class — which is among the 20 new electives at OESJ High School — focuses on community service. In addition to their holiday initiatives, students through the class work with a variety of community groups and charities including a foster home, an animal shelter, the children’s hospital and more.
