First OESJ homecoming set for this weekend
The Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville School District’s inaugural homecoming is set for this weekend, Friday, Sept. 27 and Saturday, Sept. 28, with home volleyball and soccer games, a student activity night and a community bonfire all part of the festivities.   

The homecoming events begin Friday with a pep rally for students at the high school. The junior varsity volleyball squad will kick off the homecoming games at 4:30 p.m. Friday with a match against Middleburg at the OESJ Middle School. The varsity volleyball game will begin after the JV match at approximately 6:30 p.m. 

Following the volleyball games, the OESJ Middle School will host an activity night with movies, games and food for all students in grades seven through 12.

On Saturday, the girls varsity soccer match against Duanesburg will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Soldiers and Sailors Park in St. Johnsville. The boys varsity soccer match will follow the girls at 7 p.m. 
A community bonfire will take place at the park immediately after the games Saturday. All are welcome.
