The Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School District Board of Education Wednesday, June 19, named
Daniel Hart
Daniel Hart as the district athletic director.

Hart has been a physical education teacher and a soccer, softball and basketball coach at Oppenheim-Ephratah for the past seven years, which included time coaching merged O-E and St. Johnsville sports.

Hart is a 2002 graduate of Oppenheim-Ephratah High School. He earned an associate’s degree in sports nutrition and fitness management from the State University of New York at Morrisville, and a bachelor’s degree in physical education and a master’s degree in coaching pedagogy from SUNY Cortland.

“The merged O-E and St. Johnsville sports program has been a success in the past and I’m certain that will continue into the future,” OESJ Superintendent Laura Lawrence said. “I look forward to the continued development of a strong athletic program for our student athletes.”
