D.H. Robbins students participate in Thanksgiving celebration
Students in grades 3-5 at David H. Robbins Elementary School have already begun giving thanks this holiday season. Students gathered in the auditorium recently to welcome honored guests including occupational therapist Ms. Brown, school nurse Mrs. Lape, social worker Mrs. Marchand-Clifford, speech pathologist Mrs. Connory, principal Mrs. Marzeski and maintenance worker Mr. Potoczny. The cafeteria staff was also thanked with a round of applause.

Mrs. Brundage then read America’s White Table, a children's story book by Margot Theis Raven, as her fifth grade students set a solitary table on the stage in honor of veterans across America who have and who have not returned home. The students also shared a Thanksgiving poem to remind everyone of all that they have to be thankful for.

After the close of the program, students and guests dined in the upstairs hallway, where one long table was set for all to join together for a meal of Thanksgiving.
