POSTED 2/19/2014OESJ High School kicks off community art project
Orders are currently being taken from community members and business owners for custom made cow art projects painted and designed by OESJ High School art students.
Students in Sara Thibodeau's art classes paint large plywood cutouts of cows as part of a community art project, now in its fifth year. Cows measure four feet high by eight feet long, calves measure three feet high by four feet long. The paintings on each are based on the sponsor’s request and the students design.
The goal is to have the art projects completed by May 23. The students will be accepting orders for 10 cows/calves. The cost is $75 to sponsor a cow and $40 to sponsor a calf.
If you are interested in sponsoring a cow or calf please fill out the sponsor form below and return it to Sara Thibodeau at the high school no later than March 13. If more than 10 orders are received, a wait list will be created for next year.
