Sophomore named FFA District 5 president
A member of the Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville-based chapter of the FFA has been named as a state officer of the organization. Sophomore Kaitlyn Isaac was recently named president of District 5, which covers the area from Amsterdam to East Syracuse.

Oppenheim-Ephratah, St. Johnsville students select school colors, mascot
Red, gray and black will be the school colors of the newly merged Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School District and wolves will be its mascot. A total of 355 Oppenheim-Ephratah and St. Johnsvillle students in grades 5-11 voted Thursday, March 14, with a 59 percent majority selecting red, gray and black as the school colors, and a 69 percent majority selecting wolves for the mascot. [read more...]
